Band videos
The band played at the last middle school football game for spirit week. So Emily got to run back and forth between cheering and playing in the band! Here is some video so you can see. It was a very festive afternoon!
Little Flowers
David and Lia both attend virtue clubs once a month this year. I am involved with Lia's group, the Little Flowers, again this year and David goes to Blue Knights at the same time. Today we covered Courage and learned about Queen Esther!
David is doing this for fun...
You know, because long division wasn't challenging enough. He's multiplying 9 digit by 9 digit. He made some errors so next time he says he'll use graph paper to keep it all lined up better.
Isaac
And this guy continues to charm everyone. He's a perpetual smiley face and a whirlwind of trouble. He's talking up a storm and loves to say "Where did it go?"... while lifting and lowering his shirt to show us his bellybutton. He loves dogs, ducks and squirrels and wants to be outside all the time.
He spends a lot of time naming off his family members. He points us all out and says our names throughout the day. I suppose he likes to keep track of his people. It is pretty darn cute. If you ask him "Where's the Isaac?", he will point to himself.
This boy wants to be read to constantly! Thank goodness his siblings help out. He is insatiable right now!
And then there is "Vroom Vroom Cars" with David. They do this everyday. Isaac will call out "David, vroom vroom cars?"
Luckily, David likes to play.
David the Webelo
David continues to enjoy cub scouts and has moved into the Webelo rank. So out with blue gear and in with the khaki and green. Here he is in full uniform but not smiling!
Emily the Cheerleader
This is Emily's 2nd year on her school's dance and cheer team. She really enjoys it and even gets herself up for the 7am practices every Tuesday! They got megaphones this year, and my kid really likes to use hers!
In action!
Team picture.
Sideline fun.
My little laundry buddy...
Our beautiful family of 6 creates a lot of laundry. I do laundry all the time! This guy really likes to help. He'll hand me things to fold, asking what it is and who it belongs to. He likes to put underwear on his head and of late, likes to put on David's shirts and then run around the house.
