Beach Trip, Baby Turtles

I don't have any pictures from Friday... I dropped the ball as the photographer I guess. Friday is our last day on the beach and the Ice Cream Social and Fireworks are held at our beach house that night. And to make this trip memorable, news that the baby turtles were hatching sent our crew down to their nests to see them make their way to the sea. The turtles are protected so the area was roped off but it was done in a way so that everyone could see the action. Emily was able to see two baby turtles crawl out of their nest and make their way to the sea, guided by flash lights. No pictures were allowed but it was amazing to see over a hundred people excited to witness this event. There were probably 40-50 eggs but only two baby turtles hatched that night. I'm glad we got to see it.
