By tradition, the Men's Luncheon is held on Thursday. It is a big mystery as to what goes on because no women are allowed... not that they'd want to be. We know for a fact wine and Italian cold cuts are consumed and many cigars are smoked... and all the guys have a great time. It is held at our beach house so in order to pass the time, I have started taking the little kids to the pier while Emily plays with Ainsley at her house. This year Aunt Stacey came with us! When we got to the pier, I told David to hold Lia's hand and take good care of her. He was very enthusiastic and took his job very seriously. And that freed me up to take cute pictures of them.
I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing my kids walking hand in hand. So sweet.
I'm not sure exactly what David is telling Lia... but it certainly is making her laugh.
And like all special outings, ice cream was enjoyed before we headed back home.
