Cousin Camp, Day Two, Carrowinds

I think Carrowinds is always the highlight of Cousin Camp. We opened the park up at 10am and did not leave till it closed at 8:00 that night. Here is a good part of our group near the front gate at the North Carolina/South Carolina state line.
Nonna and Pop-Pop on the carousel.

And little Lia was in love with the merry-go-round again this year. She was in heaven and so happy to ride it "all by myself!"

Emily and Ainsley attached at the hip. They sure had a lot of energy and wanted to do it all!

Cousin Analese took very good care of Lia. They rode rides together...

Analese made sure Lia was strapped in, nice and safe. What a little Mommy!

And she made sure to hold Lia's hand so she wouldn't get lost. So sweet.

After lunch, we spent a few hours at the water park to cool off and re-charge. David has been all about the slides this year. And of course, "Mommy, Watch me!"

Emily and cousin Daniel.

After the water park and a sudden downpour... we were able to hit the rides again before park closing. New to Carrowinds was the Intimidator... can you guess why it has this name?

And yes, I rode it 15min before the park closed. It was AWESOME!!!! If I hadn't been such a wimp and waited so long... I could have done it three or four more times. Next year, I'm going there first!
